Why We’re Different
Emily & Alison here! We have been in and out of the dating scene in NYC for over a decade and speed dating has always been the place where we have found the best results.
Recently, Emily went to a speed dating event in Manhattan and it just wasn’t what she had hoped for. She thought about what would make the experience better and she thinks she’s figured it out. At every date, we spent four minutes trying to find something in common to talk about and then had only one or two minutes left to actually see if there was a vibe.
This got her to thinking, what if the events already started with a theme or a commonality? That way there is something built in to discuss!
Enter Quest For Connection. We’re speed dating done differently. Each of our speed dating nights out will center around a theme (think board games, fantasy, sports, animal lovers, etc.) so you know you’ve already got something in common to start up your conversations!

There’s no strict dress code for our events, it’s most important that you feel comfortable! That being said, you want to make sure you make a good first impression.

We ask that you arrive about 10-15 minutes early to make sure you have time to check-in and get yourself situated.

Unfortunately, no. We purposely book a certain amount of people to ensure everyone has enough matches and adequate time to speak to each person.

We will occasionally offer discounts, holiday codes, or other promos. Make sure that you join our mailing list to by the first to get our promos.

We would appreciate timely notification of a planned absence because we’ll need the time to try to replace you. We understand that things happen, and if you have to cancel, we’re happy to offer you a credit for another event.

We hope that everyone will be able to make at least one match at all of our events. However, if you don’t match with anyone at one of our events, we guarantee you money off another event to try with a new group of people.

As a new company we are constantly growing! As we launch we have a smaller age range we are offering to, but we plan to branch out to both younger and older age ranges ASAP. Please keep checking in with us and join our mailing list to get the updates for new events!
